Other locations

Across the lake: both Bellagio and Menaggio are a ferry ride away; nearby cities, less than 2 hours away by car or train, are Lecco, Como, Bergamo and Milano; Lugano and Bellinzona, in Switzerland, on the other side of the lake. Switzerland is outside the Eurozone, so if you are staying there, make sure you bring your Francs (1 Swiss franc = 0.8259 euros exchange rate 08.10.2012)!
